Carbon Shocks 2.5" Coilover – 14" Stroke

Engineered for performance and built for durability, the Carbon Shocks 2.5” Coilover with 14” of stroke is proudly manufactured in the USA using American-made and sourced materials. Every shock is machined in-house at our Oklahoma facility to ensure top-tier quality, consistency, and fitment.

Specifications:

  • Stroke Length: 14"

  • Compressed Length: 22.1"

  • Extended Length: 36.1"

  • Typical Ride Height: ~29" (at 50% travel)

  • Shock Body Material: Precision-honed American D.O.M. steel tubing, finished in a rugged black Cerakote for maximum corrosion resistance.
(Optional stainless steel upgrade available upon request.)

  • Shock Shaft: Induction-hardened, chrome-plated 1050 steel, heat-treated to 60–72 HRC with a minimum yield strength of 100,000 PSI, offering exceptional resistance to bending and wear in extreme use.

  • Aluminum Components: All aluminum parts are CNC-machined from Kaiser 6061 or 7075 billet aluminum, ensuring the perfect balance of strength and weight.

  • Pressure Testing: Every shock undergoes a 300 PSI nitrogen pressure test for 24 hours to validate seal integrity and quality control before it leaves our facility.

  • Operating Pressure: Requires a nitrogen charge between 150–200 PSI for optimal performance.

  • Shock Oil: Filled with Carbon Shocks’ proprietary Blue ICE shock fluid, designed for high thermal stability and consistent damping under extreme conditions.

  • Warranty: Backed by our 12-month warranty, ensuring peace of mind and confidence in your suspension.

  • Misalignment Spacers: Standard size 1.5” width x 0.5” bore, compatible with most common off-road setups.

Reservoir Options:

  • Non-Reservoir: Lightweight and efficient for vehicles where external cooling is not required.

  • Aluminum Race Reservoirs: Fully billet, hard-anodized construction with a precision-machined IFP (internal floating piston) and wear-band support, designed to handle intense off-road abuse.

  • Dual-Speed Adjustable Reservoirs: High-performance reservoirs with independent High-Speed and Low-Speed compression adjusters, allowing complete control over shock tuning and terrain response.
